Partnership details Developer implicationsSingularityNET CEO says decentralized AI “will save us all”

SingularityNET, a decentralized artificial intelligence platform, has joined forces with the Mina Foundation, a nonprofit behind the privacy-focused Mina Protocol, to advance decentralized AI through zero-knowledge (ZK) technology.

The partnership aims to develop secure, decentralized artificial general intelligence (AGI) applications that prioritize user privacy and data protection by utilizing both platforms to develop creative solutions.

The key focus areas of the partnership include the exploration of decision-making AI agents and improving the Internet of Knowledge initiative — a decentralized ecosystem for secure, collaborative AI knowledge sharing.

The collaboration addresses critical hurdles in AI and blockchain by pushing for improved innovation in scaling solutions while continuing to safeguard user privacy.

Partnership details

The partnership focuses on combining SingularityNET’s AI infrastructure with Mina Protocol’s ZK Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge (zk-SNARK) technology — a trustless cryptographic proof system.

ZK-proofs allow information to be verifiable without revealing the underlying data, such as sensitive user data, financial details and other private information.

The integration aims to create a secure knowledge layer for AI agents to operate efficiently without compromising user data and to set the stage for AGI-powered tool development that maintains data integrity and confidentiality.

Developer implications

The companies aim to support developers with a new wave of decentralized applications through tools like decision-making AI agents and personalized governance systems.

These AI agents are designed to operate within decentralized frameworks and have the potential to improve community-driven decision-making processes.

By combining SingularityNET’s Internet of Knowledge initiative with Mina’s privacy-preserving protocols, the integration may create a more inclusive and accessible AI ecosystem for identity providers and AI agents to collaborate securely and privately.

SingularityNET CEO says decentralized AI “will save us all”

After the launch of the iPhone 16, which Apple said was optimized for AI use, the integration of AI in the average consumer’s daily life is increasing globally.

On episode 46 of The Agenda podcast, Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET and the ASI Alliance said that the development of AGI could “abolish material scarcity at the level of everyday human life.”

Goertzel clarified that powerful AGI technology isn’t without risk, expressing the importance of the need to “decentralize all these processes” for the “good of humanity.”
