The new office and an AI training programme have launched following a strong first quarter for Climb’s parent company.

Climb Channel Solutions Ireland, a specialist tech distributor, has opened its new headquarters near Dublin’s Leopardstown Racecourse.

The new office will support the wider Climb Group expand into new markets and plan for future business acquisitions, it said. In addition to Europe, the group is also looking to expand into the Asia-Pacific region.

Climb Global Solutions acquired its Irish arm, previously known as DataSolutions, back in 2023. The Irish business was founded in 1991 as a reseller of IT and security services.

Now, in addition to its new office, the distributor is also launching Climb’s AI partner programme. Called The Skyward Project, the initiative will help its business partners capitalise on AI-related opportunities, the company said.

“This six-step framework supports partners with AI enablement, collaboration and real-world impact – from education and training to use case identification and go-to-market execution.”

The programme will include an AI training initiative for the Irish and UK markets. This has already been rolled out in Germany.

The new office and the AI training programme launch following a strong first quarter for the wider group based in the US.

The past year “marked a new chapter for the business in Ireland with the official rebrand to Climb Channel Solutions Ireland”, said Brian Davis, the company’s VP of sales for UK and Ireland.

“2024 was a standout year in terms of growth,” he said. “Moving forward, we want to build on this and support vendors and partners as they navigate an ever-evolving market landscape. Our new HQ in Dublin and The Skyward Project, including the Climb AI Academy, all tie in with our aim to realise the immense potential of and innovate with emerging technologies.”

Minister of State for Public Procurement, Digitalisation and eGovernment Emer Higgins, TD, said that the new headquarters “serves as the perfect example of a business which operates in an ever-changing industry.

“In keeping with the fast-evolving tech landscape, the team is embracing emerging technologies and building on its proven experience while also adapting its expertise and creating even more opportunities.”
