Four men have been arrested and two are in critical condition in hospital after violent disorder in south Wales.The arrests were made following a disturbance involving a group of men in Pontnewydd, near Pontypool, at about 19:15 on Thursday evening, Gwent Police said.Two of the men arrested are in police custody. In total, three men were taken to hospital for treatment. Many mainstream schools in England were given attendance targets specific to their school in a widespread trial last year, but on Thursday the Department for Education (DfE) confirmed that every school would be getting their own target and that it would be monitored for the first time. A man arrested on suspicion of starting a large wildfire in Spokane, Washington told investigators he waited for a hot, dry, and windy day to light the blaze, according to newly released court documents.
