The show based on Anne Rice’s cult classic book has finally returned to AMC. In the second season of Interview with the Vampire, Louis and Claudia set off for Paris, and once there, they join the infamous Théâtre des Vampires.
The production is part of the so-called Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, based on the novel series by the writer. Interview with the Vampire is a screen adaptation of the Vampire Chronicles cycle. The universe also includes the Mayfair Witches series, which is based on the Lives of the Mayfair Witches books. A third show centred around the secret society called Order of the Talamasca is also in development.
Interview with the Vampire has been met with considerable acclaim from viewers, so it’s no surprise that AMC is releasing another season. In the latest episodes, viewers can expect some changes and many surprises.

The second season is currently rolling out episodes on AMC and AMC+.
The second season consists of 8 episodes. They will appear every Sunday until 30 June 2024.

The second season’s plot takes off right after the events of the season 1 finale. In 2022, Louis continues his conversation with journalist Daniel and tells him about the fate of himself and Claudia.
In the 1940s, after the destruction of Lestat, the couple flees to Europe and tries to find representatives of their kind. In Paris, Louis and Claudia end up at the Théâtre des Vampires, run by the mysterious and sensual Armand. Louis strikes up an affair with a newly met vampire that will have surprising and bloody consequences.

Bailey Bass, who played Claudia, doesn’t return to the next instalment of the series – the role of the young vampire has been taken over by Delainey Hayles.
David Costabile, known from the series Breaking Bad, has also joined the cast. He plays the role of Leonard, a TV personality and Daniel’s friend.
Roxane Duran plays Madeleine, a woman whom fate will bring together with Claudia. Bally Gill appears as “Real Rashid,” and Ben Daniels plays a vampire named Santiago.

How to watch Interview with the Vampire in the UK
AMC’s streaming platform isn’t available in the UK. However, you can stream the series’ first season on BBC iPlayer. Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire may also land on the service, but there’s currently no indication when this will happen.
