The more we use AI, the more I realize how shortsighted some of us were in regards to its implications. As of this moment, more and more students are getting hit with false positives and receiving sanctions for it.

To be fair, it’s not the fault of LLMs — there’s just too much variability that comes with AI detection. And until we’re certain that we can accurately distinguish between human and AI writing, all we can do is equip ourselves with the best tools to prevent ourselves from being falsely accused of using AI.

So, enter AI bypassers. These paraphrasers have a unique use case: avoid AI detection at all cost. Today, we’re going to review and compare WriteHuman and Undetectable AI, then decide which of them are worth getting.

What are WriteHuman and Undetectable AI?

WriteHuman and Undetectable AI are AI bypass platforms which are made to turn AI-generated text (or something that resembles one) into a more humanized version. This is done through careful rearrangement of words, removal of common AI indicators, and addition of humanlike mistakes.

Their core feature is the same, but WriteHuman is a lot more barebones than Undetectable AI as it lacks any additional features.

On the other hand, Undetectable AI has output customization features for the following:

  • Use Case: General Writing, Essay, Article, Business Material, Marketing Material, Legal Material, Story, Cover Letter, Report
  • Readability: High School, University, Doctorate, Journalist, Marketing
  • Level: Balanced, More Human, More Readable

Undetectable AI vs. WriteHuman: Quality Comparison

Before we can measure how well they avoid AI detection, we need to view them as paraphrasing tools first. That means evaluating how good they are at rewriting the original ChatGPT text.

Here’s how they did:

AI art generation raises complex ethical questions. While AI tools can create novel and striking visuals, they also perpetuate biases from their training data and enable effortless copying without attribution. There are concerns about AI art flooding marketplaces, undercutting human artists. However, AI could empower more people to explore creativity by lowering barriers to entry. Ultimately, we must consider intellectual property rights, consent around data usage, energy impacts, potential societal effects like job displacement, and whether AI art should be clearly disclosed. As this technology rapidly evolves, developing ethical guidelines for its responsible development and use is crucial.

The creation of art, by AI raises dilemmas. While AI tools can produce captivating visuals they also perpetuate biases from their training data. Allow for easy replication without proper credit. There are worries about AI generated art saturating markets and devaluing the work of artists. Nonetheless AI has the potential to inspire individuals to engage in pursuits by reducing barriers to entry. It is essential to consider issues such as intellectual property rights, consent for data usage, environmental impacts societal implications like job displacement and the necessity of labeling AI generated art. As this technology advances rapidly establishing standards, for its advancement and application is imperative.

The advent of AI-produced art raises a myriad of ethical concerns. In spite of the fact that these tools can alternatively produce new and astonishing images, they also reproduce prejudices in the training data and facilitate simple plagiarism without crediting the original authors. Some are afraid that AI artists will dominate markets by reducing human supplies. However, to encourage more people into being creative, AI could democratize art by dismantling entry barriers. Finally, issues like intellectual property rights, privacy around data usage, carbon footprints, potential societal consequences such as job losses should be deliberated upon; and if AI artwork should be made apparent or not known to all those who interact with it. This is why there is an urgent need for ethical frameworks on development and use of this technology as it keeps changing at a high rate.

Undetectable AI’s output is more in line with most AI bypassers in the market. It is a bit messy and full of grammar errors, which is to be expected so that it could avoid AI detection. In less than 100 words, I’ve counted no less than 10 errors. That might be enough to not be flagged by TurnItIn and other AI detection tools.

What’s surprising here is WriteHuman’s version of the AI text. It’s well-written, clear, and without any mistakes. There are still a couple of eyebrow-raising word choices (such as substituting “human supplies” for “human artists”) but it’s still night and day compared to Undetectable AI.

Without a doubt, this round goes to WriteHuman.

Undetectable AI vs. WriteHuman: Accuracy Comparison

Just a quick note before we get started: each WriteHuman output comes with a human score at the top. Ignore this for now since we’re using a third-party detector instead called Sapling AI, one of the better performing detectors we tested for this article.

What’s The Verdict?

This is one of the toughest “Undetectable AI vs.” matchups we’ve had. On one hand, Undetectable AI is more accurate at avoiding AI detection. But on the other, WriteHuman produces outputs that are more readable while still managing to avoid detection most times.

So, what’s the verdict? There is none.

In my opinion, choose Undetectable AI if you want to tweak the output yourself before using it. Because having lower accuracy scores means having more flexibility to change parts of it. But if you just want to use the output as is, pick WriteHuman because it has more readable outputs.

The choice is yours.

If you want to consider other AI bypassers, we’ve reviewed a ton of them like HideMyAI and Netus so check those out. Otherwise, good luck!
