Worrying signs that Liam Rosenior might already be losing the Chelsea dressing room – opinion

It would have been nice to have just scored a goal against PSG on Tuesday night, how sad is it for me to say that!? I mean, it would have been nicer to at least get a respectful score line on the night too, right? A draw would have at least given us something to work on, something to move on with.

But nope, a 3-0 thrashing to add to last weeks 5-2 thrashing presenting us with an 8-2 aggregate defeat and a result that equalled our worst ever Champions League defeat over two legs. Well done, chaps. Well done.

My blame is on the owners, you all know that. But as well as this, Liam Rosenior seems to be doing his very best to get everyone questioning and turning on him as well. I’ve seen a lot to suggest now that he is never going to work here at Chelsea. Just another BlueCo yes man. I’ve stayed away from the PE Teacher stuff, but the more I see, the more doubts come in for me. I’m not going to call for him to be sacked, I’m fed up with all that. But seriously, is he really losing the dressing room already?

First of all, French journalist Julien Laurens was sat behind Rosenior last night for the PSG game. And he says that Chelsea’s players were not taking on his instructions, so essentially not listening to him!?

“I was behind Liam Rosenior [last night], there wasn’t a single instruction that went through!”

– Julien Laurens.

Oh dear. And as if this wasn’t bad enough, he then had Enzo Fernandez out there questioning his tactics. And that came after he said he could leave Chelsea in the summer, by the way….

“We have to congratulate PSG; they were far better than us. I think they outplayed us tactically.

“We can turn this situation around, we have 8 games left. We have the FA Cup, we want to win the FA Cup. It’s a title, we play Football to win.”

– Enzo Fernandez

I said earlier this week that Liam has a lot of clawing back to do. But for many Chelsea fans, I don’t think there is any way back for him and they wont change their minds on that. It’s not a great place for him to be this soon in his Chelsea career.

I just remembered too, there was about ten minutes to go last night, we’d gone down to ten men because of an injury, and Rosenior spent about five minutes writing and then passing a note around all of the players. Lad, we’re 3-0 down and 8-2 down on aggregate, we have one less player, we’re done, it’s over. Stop embarrassing yourself! The players were just mind blanked by it, no emotions. Oh man.

Until Chelsea decide they want to hire managers with an impressive CV instead of development project managers, then this is what we are going to be faced with.
