Two decades into its life, World of Warcraft is showing no signs of stopping. On the contrary, in fact, the long-running MMORPG is set to kick off a new trilogy dubbed the Worldsoul Saga with its next expansion, The War Within. When exactly it’ll be out is currently unclear, but a select few will soon have the chance to get a taste of the expansion’s offerings nonetheless.
A beta of World of Warcraft: The War Within is set to launch imminently, on June 5, and ahead of its release, Blizzard Entertainment has released a new trailer focusing on Xal’atath, the expansion’s main antagonist. Those who pre-ordered The War Within’s Epic Edition or 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition will be able to dive into the beta. Check out its newest trailer below.
World of Warcraft: The War Within is set to launch globally for PC audiences sometime later this year. Though a release date is currently unknown, Blizzard will hopefully be changing that soon- presumably at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 9.
