Watch Films For Free On YouTube With Warner’s New Playlist

If you’re sick of paying more and more for your streaming services, there’s some good news. Warner Bros. Discovery has dumped a catalogue of movies on its YouTube channel, completely free of charge.

You can find the playlist here.

As it’s YouTube, there are ads during these films – though if you’re a YouTube Premium member, this won’t be an issue. If you’ve never signed up before, you can grab a 1-month free trial.

The studio started uploading films on 1 January 2025 and was spotted by Gizmodo in early February. Since then, new movies have been dropping every few days, growing the playlist more and more. Significantly, these movies aren’t on Max, the streaming service owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.

While you won’t find the latest blockbusters such as Companion, there’s a wide range of genres… though the quality does vary.

The most streamed one at the time of writing is 1997’s Mr Nice Guy starring Jackie Chan with 16M views and counting. Other notable titles include the thriller Deathtrap with Michael Caine and Christopher Reeve, and the very questionable 2000’s original Dungeons and Dragons film with Jeremy Irons (watch at your own risk).

US readers can see the start of the playlist with the embedded video below. If you’re in the UK, this will be shown as hidden. Fortunately, we have a workaround for that.

How to watch the free Warner Bros. YouTube movies in the UK

When writing up this story, we noticed that the playlist shows as hidden – our team HQ is based in the UK.

To access and stream these movies, you need one piece of software: a VPN.

A VPN (virtual private network), reroutes your IP address so you can browse the internet as if you’re in another country. To watch the free Warner movies on YouTube, you’ll need a US server.

NordVPN worked without a hitch – it has a wide range of American servers to choose from, an easy-to-use interface and competitive prices. However, there are plenty of other providers out there for streaming.

We anticipate that Warner will drop more films on this playlist, making this a worthy investment. You can also use it to watch geo-locked streaming services such as Peacock and the US version of Netflix.
