Ballistic Moon’s Until Dawn, a remake of Supermassive Games’ acclaimed narrative horror, is now available for PS5 and PC. The story focuses on eight friends who venture to Blackwood Mountain to reconnect. Things quickly go wrong as they fight to survive against terrifying creatures until the morning (or dawn, as it were).
Rebuilt on Unreal Engine 5, the remake features multiple improvements to textures, character models, facial animations, and much more. Characters sport more realistic injuries and “updated” deaths, while a new third-person perspective showcases events in a new light. The Prologue setting up current events also received a rework while new Hunger Totems have been added to mix up the gameplay.
Head here for more details on Until Dawn and what to expect. While the IP will receive a movie in the future, there may also be a sequel in development. Rumors indicate that Firesprite of Horizon Call of the Mountain fame is working on it, though beyond a tease in the remake, there’s nothing official.
Can you survive the night? It’s time to find out.
