Undetectable AI’s AI Image Detector vs. Adobe Firefly: Does It Deliver?

AI-generated images are everywhere now. From picture-perfect LinkedIn headshots to digital art that looks like it belongs in a museum (or a meme page), it’s getting harder to tell what’s real and what’s been whipped up by a model.

Naturally, with that rise comes the need to spot what’s fake. As with AI-generated text, a whole wave of detection tools is popping up to meet the moment.

Undetectable AI, best known for rewriting AI-generated text to sound more human, has recently expanded into AI image detection. That caught our attention — especially since Adobe Firefly is one of the most widely used image generators right now.

So we decided to put it to the test. We ran a batch of Firefly-generated images through Undetectable AI’s image detection tool to see just how well it could spot them.

Does it deliver? Or is it just another box-checking feature?

Let’s find out.

What is Undetectable AI?

Undetectable AI started as a text humanizer, designed to bypass AI detectors by rewriting AI-generated content. It’s since evolved from a simple paraphrasing tool to a broader platform, with tools like AI essay writer, AI auto job applier, and more.

Today, we’re here to talk about one of those features: their new AI image detector. We’re here to check if it actually delivers by testing it against Adobe Firefly.

What is Firefly?

Adobe Firefly is an AI tool created to simplify and enhance the creative process—most notably in image generation. Built into Adobe’s ecosystem, Firefly allows users to create high-quality images simply by describing what they want to see using natural language, similar to Midjourney.

What sets Firefly apart? Unlike other AI image models, it’s trained on licensed content, so everything you generate is safe for commercial use. With features like Text-to-Image and Generative Fill, you can create, remix, or enhance visuals instantly. It’s speed, style, and peace of mind—all in one tool.

The Bottom Line

After running all 10 Firefly-generated images through Undetectable AI’s detection tool, every single one came back flagged… with a 99% likelihood score.

No hesitations, no close calls, no “might be AI” gray area. Just 10 straight results, all confidently marked as AI-generated. That’s… impressive. But also kind of weird?

It’s rare to see any detection tool be this consistent, especially when the model it’s detecting from is another major player like Adobe. Whether that says more about Firefly’s style or Undetectable AI’s tuning is hard to say.

But at face value? It passed with flying colors. If you’re looking to spot Firefly-made content specifically, this tool doesn’t seem to miss.

Still, it’s hard not to raise an eyebrow at how every result landed exactly at 99%. Coincidence? Calibration? Who knows.

Either way, it’s an outstanding score. Suspiciously perfect, but perfect nonetheless.
