Although Transformers One isn’t exactly the box office smash as the previous franchise instalments, it has certainly attracted the attention of loyal fans. The cinema is undoubtedly the best place to enjoy this colourful animation, which includes a stellar voice cast such as Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Brian Tyree Henry, Jon Hamm, Laurence Fishburne and Steve Buscemi. The latest movie in the Transformers franchise is out now exclusively in cinemas in the US. You can buy your tickets from AMC Theatres and Fandango.
In the UK, the film won’t release until 11 October 2024. When it hits the big screen, you can get your tickets from Vue, Cineworld or Odeon.

When will Transformers One be released on VOD?
Paramount Pictures, who created Transformers One, has yet to announce when it will premiere on digital platforms. However, we will try to predict the potential date based on the VOD releases of the studio’s previous films.
Last year’s hits like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves arrived on digital a month after it had opened at cinemas, while Scream VI took around a month and a half. On the other hand, A Quiet Place: Day One, a highly successful 2024 survival horror, appeared on VOD only after 32 days.
Transformers One is doing quite well at the box office, so it should follow a similar release path as the films mentioned above. We estimate the movie may drop on digital in the US around 20 October 2024.
However, UK-based fans may wait a little longer, as the film releases here on 11 October. It’s possible that it won’t appear on VOD in the United Kingdom until mid-November 2024.

When could Transformers One be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Estimating when the physical copies of the film appear in stores is harder, because Paramount approaches each case individually.
Physical copies of A Quiet Place: Day One will be available around two months after the film’s VOD release. Paramount may bring Transformers One on DVD and Blu-ray after the same period – thus, if our prediction above is correct, this should be in December 2024, right before Christmas.
When could Transformers One be released on streaming services?
Considering A Quiet Place: Day One, we assume Transformers One will appear on streaming last. It may happen at the end of December 2024, however, the creators may wait until next year to release the movie on Paramount+.
We’ll have to wait for Paramount Pictures to announce their decision in this matter.
