Devolver Digital has been on fire with announcements lately, and fans can add one more to the list – The Talos Principle: Reawakened. As a “radically overhauled reawakening” of its critically acclaimed 2014 puzzler, it launches on April 10th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out the announcement trailer below.
Developed on Unreal Engine 5 with enhanced visuals, lighting and textures, it includes the base game and Road to Gehenna. There’s also a new chapter, “In the Beginning,” centered on the first test and the Simulation’s origins. Quality-of-life changes and a new Puzzle Editor, which allows modders to create their own worlds and puzzles, are also included.
Those keen on trying it out can partake in the demo on PC as part of the Steam Next Fest. Weighing about 21 GB, it features a “curated” taste of puzzles from the game (expect plenty of pressure plates and laser connectors) and the Puzzle Editor. Stay tuned for more details leading into its launch.
