AAA indie studio Rebel Wolves was formally established by former CD Projekt RED veterans back in 2022, with the developer announcing at the time that its debut project would be a dark fantasy action RPG. Jump to earlier this year, and Rebel Wolves confirmed Dawnwalker as the title for its project, with an announcement following in October that the game would be published by Bandai Namco.
Now, Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have announced the full and final title for the action RPG, and confirmed a specific date for when it will be unveiled. Titled The Blood of Dawnwalker, the game will be unveiled in full next month, on January 13 at 1 PM PST / 4 PM PST / 10 PM CET, or January 14 at 6 AM JST.
Not much else is known about The Blood of Dawnwalker, which Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco describe as the first chapter of a larger saga. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game will place “a strong focus on story and narrative”. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
