During EVO Japan 2025, Bandai Namco revealed several updates coming to its flagship fighting game Tekken 8. However, the trailer ended by showcasing the next DLC fighter – Fahkumram. Check it out below, though there’s nothing by way of gameplay.
First introduced in 2020’s Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, Fahkumram is a Muay Thai fighter who relies on knee and elbow strikes. He was forced to fight for the military, though his role in the current conflict is unknown (especially given twists like the return of Heihachi Mishima).
Fahkumram is available this Summer and is the second of three returning fighters this season. The next goes live this Autumn, followed by a new character and stage this Winter. Stay tuned for more details.
Tekken 8 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It received critical acclaim at launch and sold over three million units as of February 2025. The latest patch garnered controversy for its multitude of balance changes, causing the developer to apologize and promise more fixes.
