From Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country to Hazelight’s next game, Dying Light: The Beast, and more, several major titles are confirmed to be receiving new showings at The Game Awards imminently, and it seems another announcement may have been added to that list.
Sloclap, the developer of acclaimed indie hits Sifu and Absolver, seems to be teasing an announcement for The Game Awards. Taking to Twitter, the studio wrote, “See you at The Game Awards. Expect to be surprised!” Whether that means the studio is set to announce a new game or something else entirely remains to be seen, but sure enough, it sounds like fans of Sloclap’s past works are going to want to keep an eye on the showcase.
The Game Awards are set for a few hours from now, at 4:30 PM Pacific / 7: 30 PM Eastern on Thursday, December 12. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming hours.
