The Galaxy Ring smart ring doesn’t seem to be the only new smart wearable device Samsung has up its sleeve.
WccfTech reports that the company is also working on a pair of smart glasses, which will supposedly launch in the third quarter of 2025.
According to Chinese research firm Wellsen XR Research, Samsung’s smart glasses will have similar performance to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, as they both use Qualcomm’s AR1 chip. In addition, both glasses have a built-in 12-megapixel camera, as well as batteries of about 155 mAh.
However, Samsung’s glasses will use the AI model Gemini to power its smart features, the company is working with Google to customise the AI for the glasses.
