The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ have leaked, and the latter in particular looks like a fascinating new mid-range tablet option.

Thanks to WinFuture, we have images and specifications for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE family, and they’re more interesting than initially meets the eye.

Big changes for the Galaxy Tab S10+

It’s true that externally, the two Galaxy Tab S10 FE models look virtually indistinguishable from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE. Samsung hasn’t messed with its (already conservative) design language one bit, and they retain their unusually water-tight IP68 certification.

The smaller tablet packs what appears to be the same 10.9-inch 2304 x 1440 IPS LCD, as well. However, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is ramping things up with a 13.1-inch 2880 x 1800 display, which is an increase from the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.

That’s the sort of size (if not screen technology) we used to associate with Pro or Ultra-level tablets, though the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has admittedly stretched that definition with its 14.6-inch 2.9K AMOLED.

It certainly dwarfs the OnePlus Pad 2 with its 12.1-inch screen.

Both tablets run on the Samsung Exynos 1580, currently to be found in the Samsung Galaxy A56 mid-range smartphone. I’ve been using the latter of late, and it’s a reasonably capable runner – especially with the 12GB of RAM that will come with the top models (there’s 8GB to start with).

You’ll also have the option of either 128 or 256GB of storage, with expansion potential provided by a microSD slot.

The main camera appears to have been upgraded, for whatever that’s worth in a tablet. Out goes the old 8MP sensor, in comes a 13MP replacement. There’s still a 12MP camera around front.

The smaller tablet packs a 8000mAh battery, while the larger one gives you 10090mAh, charging goes up to 45W. Those specs carry over from the Tab S9 FE range.

As with the Tab S9 FE range, both models support Samsung’s S Pen stylus, which is another nifty distinguishing feature for anyone looking for a well-priced tablet.

Pricing will apparently start from €579 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE, and €749 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. Both will apparently rollout out in the next week or two.
