The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 has been heavily leaked in recent months, and now so-called “official renders” of the tablet have been published by Android Headlines.

They highlight a device that looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 from two years back, this time in fairly drab Grey and Silver colour options. That includes the same single camera module, and the same basic flat-edged look.

We also get confirmation of the key specs for these two tablets. The Galaxy Tab A11+ will have a bigger footprint than its non-Plus brother (257.1 × 168.7mm vs 211 x 124.7mm), and will also be heavier (480g vs 335g). However, it’ll also be a fair bit thinner (6.9mm vs 8mm). Both will have an IP52 rating.

This larger footprint will house an 11-inch LCD to the Galaxy Tab A11’s 8.7-inch equivalent. Both will be 90Hz. However, only the Tab A11+ will surround that display with four speakers. The Galaxy A11 will only have the two.

Leaked marketing materials, meanwhile, suggest that both tablets will come with seven years of software support – an excellent provision for such budget tablets.

Battery sizes also differ, with the Galaxy Tab A11+ giving you 7,040mAh with 25W charging, and the Tab A11 giving you 5,100mAh and 15W.

There’s a difference in the processor used, too. The larger Galaxy Tab A11+ will run off a 4nm MediaTek MT8167 chip, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 will use a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99.

The A11+ gets either 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB/256GB, while the A11 will offer the choice of either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s a microSD slot on both, with support for up to 2TB of expanded memory.

Both models come with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Given that Samsung accidentally listed these budget tablets on its business website in the UAE (before removing them), we’re expecting an official launch very shortly.
