It’s likely that the Galaxy A37 will get an official announcement very soon, with February or March the most likely months for its arrival.

The Galaxy A36 launched on 2 March last year and although early February was tipped for this year’s mid-ranger, there’s been no news yet.

A spanner in the works is that the Galaxy S26 range is coming later than usual at Galaxy Unpacked on 25 February.

Samsung may just wait until after this is over to move on to Galaxy A announcements and we feel that is the most likely outcome, or could do something like announce them on the same day via a blog post.

At the latest, it seems we’ll know all the official details about the Galaxy A37 in the next few weeks.

The price of phones in 2026 is something of a mystery. With a memory shortage and resulting rise in prices, it could mean handsets demand a higher price than their predecessors.

The Galaxy S26 range is hotly tipped to see at least some price hikes, so the Galaxy A range could also.

If Samsung stays sensible, the Galaxy A37 will stick at a starting price of £399/$399 to keep it under that 400 mark, but we’ll have to wait and see.

What specs and features will the Samsung Galaxy A37 have?

Samsung doesn’t change its phones all that much year-on-year, so don’t expect too much from the Galaxy A37 in terms of pizazz.

As you can see from the leaked design from Android Headlines, it looks almost identical to its predecessor, apart from minor tweaks. The colour shown is a lavender shade (official name to be confirmed).

However, there are some rumours of one upgrade and it’s an important one we’ve been waiting for.

The main camera will reportedly be the same as the more expensive Galaxy A57. This could mean you get a 50Mp – the same resolution as before – but with a larger Sony IMX906 sensor.

If the A37 follows the A57, which would make sense to some degree, it could also get a slimmer design and a much-needed performance boost from a new processor – possibly the Exynos 1480.
