Ryan Gosling is a beloved Canadian actor whose career began on The Mickey Mouse Club alongside future stars like Britney Spears and Christina Augilera. He rose to international fame with the 2004 romantic hit The Notebook, co-starring Rachel McAdams — one of his most iconic roles. Over the years, Gosling has built a critically acclaimed résumé with standout performances in films such as Half Nelson, Drive, The Big Short, La La Land, Blade Runner 2049, and First Man. He received Academy Award nominations for Best Actor for Half Nelson and La La Land.

In a major full-circle moment, he recently made his Broadway debut (as noted earlier), and on the film front he’s been equally busy. His most recent major release was The Fall Guy (2024), where he played a stunt-man turned actor in an action-comedy directed by David Leitch. Looking ahead, Gosling is confirmed to star in Star Wars: Starfighter (set for May 2027) directed by Shawn Levy — marking his entry into the iconic franchise. He is also attached to star in Project Hail Mary (scheduled for 2026), a sci-fi adaptation of the Andy Weir novel, in which he is both actor and producer.

On the personal side, Ryan has been in a long-term relationship with actress Eva Mendes since 2011. The couple share two daughters — Esmeralda Amada, born in 2014, and Amada Lee, born in 2016 — and largely keep their family life private.
