‘Rise of Castles’ – Reign and Let Your Castle Go Down in History with this Strategy Sim

Start from humble beginnings and build your empire from scratch in Rise of Castles, the medieval-themed castle-building sim. Featuring a wide variety of troops and units you can tinker around with, the free-to-play title lets you expand your castle while your enemies attempt to invade your lands from outside the gates.

Whether or not your castle survives will depend entirely on your strategic prowess. Do you have what it takes to usher in a new age as the lord of the land?

Stake a claim on your land

Craft your castle from the ground up by gathering resources, recruiting heroes and troops, and amassing enough wealth to make your land prosper. Rise of Castles offers plenty of opportunities for you to flex your management skills, whether you’re balancing the needs of your citizens with resources or plotting out your next course of action to keep would-be invaders at bay.

More than trying to survive each day unscathed, you’ll need to provide for the people who look up to you as their lord. Take on the role of a benevolent ruler while unleashing your ruthlessness as a conqueror to expand your territories – all in a day’s work when you’re head of the soon-to-be greatest castle in the land.

Care for your population and protect your people

In addition to keeping your people well-fed, safe, and satisfied, you’ll also have to manage Lumber, Charcoal and other resources to keep your operations running. Food, Marble and even Ale are all vital to keeping a castle afloat, which also includes managing your economic output and technological advancements.

This comes on top of handling military matters to ensure your campaigns run smoothly outside your castle borders, which is where your defenses come in.

Exert your military might and conquer the world

You’ll need to be on your toes to react to dynamic outside forces during real-time battles. Build up your army, recruit heroes to fight by your side, and advance your cause in tactical warfare. Deploy your army to repel external threats, or trade with neighboring castles to expand your economy. Diplomacy comes into play in expanding your reign, after all, and forming alliances is crucial to prosperity in the long run.

Does all that sound enticing to you? If you’re keen on putting your tactical mastery to the test, you can check out Rise of Castles on the App Store and on Google Play. You can also head on over to the official website to learn more.
