It’s time to take a look at some poll results from earlier this week as we debate the new striker that Chelsea should be signing.
On my personal Chelsea site Si Phillips Talks Chelsea this week, I ran a set of polls on the striker situations.
It appears that many of you in this community share my concerns about Victor Osimhen, but also that most of you would be content if we signed him.
However, it is Viktor Gyokeres that moves us all the most and is the one we believe Chelsea should be targeting as our next striker.

If you had to chose one of Osimhen, Gyokeres, or Benjamin Sesko for a fair fee, then who would you chose?
- 50% picked Gyokeres
- 30% picked Sesko
- 19% picked Osimhen
Interesting to see that Osimhen is the least popular out of the three, but I’m not surprised at all as I agree with the above results.
Would you be happy if Chelsea signed Osimhen though?

- 31% say very happy
- 21% say not sure either way
- 6% say not too happy
- 1% say not happy at all
Would you be happy if Chelsea signed Gyokeres?
- 59% say very happy
- 30% say quite happy
- 8% say not sure
- 2% say not too happy

Would you be happy if Chelsea signed Sesko?
- 46% say quite happy
- 41% say very happy
- 11% say not sure
- 2% say not too happy
- 1% say not happy at all
So it’s quite clear to me. The majority would be happy enough if we signed any of the above three options, but more would be happier if we signed Gyokeres, and then Sesko, over Osimhen, and I am inclined to fully agree with this community on that!
