If a multi-million dollar home in Old Cherry Hills Village sells for its listed price, it will be the most expensive house ever sold in the neighborhood.
The two-story house at 4301 South Lafayette Street in Old Cherry Hills comes with six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, four half bathrooms, a spa and hot tub, a wine cellar, a wet bar, a theater room and a five-car garage, according to the Sotheby’s International Realty listing.
It also sits on 2.5 acres of land, a lot size that the listing says is “unheard of” in the neighborhood.
According to property records, the house was last sold in October 2020 for $4.6 million. It’s now listed for $10.5 million, a 128% price increase.
Another 8-acre property in the Old Cherry Hills neighborhood sold for $22 million in 2022 to Walmart heir Ben Walton, according to the Arapahoe County Assessor’s Office. However, that section of land included three homes across the four lots.
Other homes in Old Cherry Hills have sold for $9 million — including multiple 2024 sales along Viking Drive and Franklin Street — but none have reached $10 million, according to county home sale records.
If the home on Lafayette Street sells for the $10.5 million asking price, it will break the neighborhood record, but it still won’t be the most expensive home sold in the entirety of Cherry Hills Village.
Russell Wilson paid $25 million in 2022 for a mansion at 10 Cherry Pills Park Drive and sold it for $21.5 million in 2024 after he was cut from the Denver Broncos.
The president of the Denver Nuggets basketball and Avalanche hockey teams, Josh Kroenke, also bought a Cherry Hills Village house last year in the Cherry Hills Park neighborhood. That home sold for nearly $16 million.
