Ninja Crispi Air Fryer Out Now in New Limited-Edition Shades

Ninja’s latest air fryer is also its least conventional. Unlike any other model around, it’s modular and you can store it in a kitchen cabinet – so you don’t need an ugly, hulking appliance on your countertop.

It’s also portable, and it makes cooking and clean-up even simpler than a regular air fryer, as you can serve and store food in the same glass dishes you cook in.

It would be a perfect gift for students or anyone living in house share where space is limited and you don’t want to deal with someone who’s left your air fryer all gunky. Plus, it’s already available in some Gen Z-friendly colour options: cyberspace (murky blue), sage and stone.

But now there’s another first: have you ever seen a mint green air fryer? Some bright, new and very limited-edition colorways have just gone on sale. While stock lasts, you can get it in two-tone mint, periwinkle or pink.

The price remains the same – $179.99 – and the new colours are available, although perhaps not for long, from Ninja Kitchen in the US. If you want one, we suggest going for it soon.

Sadly, the new colour options are not yet available in the UK, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for their release. In the meantime, you can buy the Crispi in Sage, Cyber Space and Stone from Ninja Kitchen UK.

Should you buy the Ninja Crispi?

The Crispi is more affordable than most of Ninja’s other models, which is one benefit. You can read our review for an in-depth look at what it’s like to use day-to-day. To summarise, we gave it four out of a possible five stars, particularly praising the glass cooking and storage containers that let you see when your food is ready, its ease of use, quick clean-up and the consistently crispy food it produces.

It’s simple to use. Put the food to be cooked in one of the included glass containers, plug in the frying lid, which Ninja calls the Crispi Power Pod, and fit the Power Pod on top. Then choose your setting and you’re ready to go.

The Crispi has a top temperature of 185°C and four cooking modes: air fry, roast, keep warm and “recrisp” (reheat). It’s powerful too, at 1700W, so your food will be done quickly.

Here’s what you’ll get when you buy:

  • Large 3.8-litre/4-quart TempWare glass container
  • Smaller 1.4-litre/6-cup TempWare glass container
  • Leakproof, BPA-free plastic storage lids for containers
  • Crisper plates
  • Power Pod lid
