Turning their attention back to Premier League action this weekend, Newcastle will welcome Fulham to St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.

Putting in another dominant European performances earlier in the week, the Magpies will be seeking an immediate domestic response here as Eddie Howe’s camp try and find a route into the top-half of the Premier League standings.

Although Fulham might have opened up the new campaign with their sights set on mounting another genuine European charge of their own, the Cottagers have continued on a worrying rut on either side of October’s international break.

Two camps who open this weekend’s fixtures sat right next to each other in the table, we have taken a look at some of the most attractive Newcastle vs Fulham Bet Builder Tips.

Newcastle seeking a repeat display

While Newcastle might have suffered late heartbreak away at Brighton last weekend as they eventually fell to a 2-1 loss at the Amex, Howe’s men came roaring back in a sensational fashion earlier in the week.

Cruising their way to an emphatic 3-0 victory at home against Jose Mourinho’s Benfica, the former Bournemouth boss will be desperately seeking a repeat performance on Saturday afternoon.

Putting a maiden Champions League win on the board earlier in the month as they opened October with a 4-0 romp away at Royale Union, Newcastle have won three of their previous four appearances across all competitions.

Heading into October’s fortnight interval with a 2-0 win at home against Nottingham Forest, the Magpies now have their sights firmly set on finding a route into the top-half of the Premier League standings.

Along with winning their previous two showdowns at St. James’ Park by an aggregate score of 5-0, Howe’s side have also recorded consecutive clean sheets in front of their own supporters for the first time this season.

Keep an eye out for Gordon

While Nick Woltemade might have only completed a blockbuster £69million move from Stuttgart a couple of months ago, the German international has certainly made an immediate impact at St. James’ Park.

However, although the 23-year-old might have already notched four goals in his first five Premier League appearances, it is worth keeping an eye out for Anthony Gordon here.

Although the former Everton star might have endured a nightmare start to the new campaign after being shown a reckless straight red card against Liverpool on August 25th, Gordon is getting back to his empathic best.

Bagging yet another European strike against Benfica earlier in the week, the England international has remarkably bagged four goals in his first three Champions League showdowns.

Likewise, notching just a second senior strike for the Three Lions during England’s 5-0 romp away at Latvia on October 14th, Gordon has now registered five direct goal contributions in his last six outings for club and country.

Frustrations mount for Silva

Although some in Fulham’s camp might have opened up the 2025/26 campaign with their sights set on mounting a genuine European charge, the Cottagers find themselves in the midst of what has become a real struggle.

Last seen marking their return from October’s international break with a 1-0 loss at home against title contenders Arsenal, Saturday’s guests have lost all of their previous three consecutive Premier League appearances.

Heading into October’s fortnight interval with back-to-back 3-1 defeats against Aston Villa and Bournemouth, Fulham have the feel of a squad desperately searching for an essential boost.

Opening Saturday’s trip to St. James’ Park sat way down in 14th-place, it has also been suggested once again that the former Everton boss is growing frustrated in west London.

Facing what will certainly be another stern examination this weekend, it should also be highlighted that Fulham have lost each of their last three straight Premier League matchups away from Craven Cottage by an aggregate score of 8-2.
