Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios have revealed a new arsenal for their upcoming first-person shooter, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, showcasing a trio of unconventional weapons designed to fit the surreal noir setting. Check them all out in the latest gameplay trailer below.
Dubbed “home essentials” by in-game parody brand SPIKE-D, the weapons include the CLEAN-D Turpentine Gun, which appears to melt enemies with a corrosive blend; the COOL-D Freeze Gun, capable of immobilizing targets with a blast of cold steam; and the MIND-D Conscious Gun, a bizarre device designed to hypnotize and pacify foes.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire continues to build interest with its hand-drawn animation, black-and-white aesthetic, and fast-paced action, drawing visual comparisons to Cuphead, albeit with a grittier, noir-inspired twist. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it is due later this year on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.
