Mobvoi might not be the most well-known company, but you shouldn’t overlook its new premium smartwatch. The new TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is a more rugged version of the regular TicWatch Pro 5, an impressive all-rounder running Google’s Wear OS software.
Building upon the success of its predecessor, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is design for modern explorers. Powered by the same Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip, the watch promises to deliver strong performance and advanced health tracking capabilities.
Its 628mAh battery claims to offer up to 90 hours of battery life in Smart Mode and 45 days in Essential Mode, and the regular TicWatch Pro 5 suggests that might be possible.
Its 1.43-inch OLED display should still deliver clear, crisp visuals, especially with an always-on-display functionality and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass.
With a sleek metal and aluminium design, US-MIL-STD 810H certification, 5ATM water resistance and multi-GNSS technology, it’s ready for almost all outdoor challenges.
Dimensions of 50.15 x 48 x 11.95mm and weight of 44.7g also make it similar in shape and feel to other popular choices such as the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic or Garmin Forerunner 265.
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro also introduces significant enhancements to its fitness capabilities with TicExercise, featuring clearer workout visuals and support for new workouts like cross-country skiing and stair stepper.
It offers extensive outdoor sports data with GPS tracking for activities such as running, cycling, and hiking.
The updated TicHealth metric streamlines health tracking by consolidating heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress, and health goals into one solution for a seamless user experience.
The Mobvoi Health app also introduces snoring detection, providing valuable insights to improve sleep quality and overall well-being, with a complimentary 12-month VIP sleep subscription included with the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro. After that, it costs $4.99 per month.
What’s more, the watch offers comprehensive health monitoring features including 24/7 heart rate monitoring with alerts for abnormal heart activity, blood oxygen monitoring, VO2 Max, Recovery Time calculations and one-tap measurement of essential health metrics.
Ultimately, powered by Wear OS by Google, it provides connectivity and access to Google apps and services like Google Maps, Google Pay, Google Calendar and Gmail, plus a range of third-party apps via the Play Store.
Plus, it integrates with popular exercise apps like Strava and Nike Run Club, displaying live workout metrics for an enhanced experience.
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is available now directly from Mobvoi, costing £329.99/$349.99.
That makes it a competitive alternative to other rugged watches such as the £799/$799 Apple Watch Ultra 2 or the £369/$399.99 Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
