Indian tech outfit Noise has officially unveiled the Luna Ring Gen 2, its second generation smart ring that offers AI smarts and class-leading battery life.
After launching its first generation ring in 2023, Gen 2 has emerged at CES 2025, hoping it can take a bite out of sales of the Oura Ring and the many other rings that have spawned since Oura’s success.
Like the original, the Gen 2 is built from titanium, which is pretty much the go-to finish favoured by most smart rings. It has a sensor array that can track metrics including heart rate, stress, blood oxygen levels and will of course monitor your sleep time and daily movements.

In terms of those new AI powers, Noise states that it will use your health and wellness metrics to power workout and nutritional advice to make using the ring a more personalised experience. Noise is not alone in tapping up AI to add news features with the Evie Ring adding an AI-powered Health Assistant to its smart ring made for women.
The new AI features will be free to access just like the rest of the Luna Ring Gen 2 features and will once again be an option for both iPhone and Android phone users.
In addition to those new AI smarts, Noise is also going big on battery, promising up to 30 days of battery on the Ring Gen 2. The original Luna Ring delivered up to 7 days battery, so that’s a sizeable jump. That means it will offer longer battery life than the Oura Ring 4 (7-8 days), Samsung Galaxy Ring (7 days) and the current battery champ the RingConn Gen 2 (10-12 days).
Pre-orders for the Luna Ring Gen 2 start on the 9th January 2025 with shipping slated for March 2025. Noise has told us that the Luna Ring Gen 2 will be available online for the US and UK and will be launching in retailers in the first half of 2025.
While we still remain unconvinced about early efforts to marry AI and smart rings, we can definitely get on board with a smart ring that can last a month.
