From a new mainline single-player instalment and a co-op multiplayer game to an alleged remaster of the first game and even an MMO, reports have indicated that Guerrilla and Sony’s Horizon franchise has plenty of irons in the first, and now, another upcoming, as-of-yet unannounced title seems to have emerged through leaks.
Leaker Kurakasis recently took to Twitter to tease a collaboration between Sony and LEGO that will soon be announced, which was corroborated shortly afterward by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson. In fact, as per Henderson’s report, the collaboration is a new game titled LEGO Horizon Adventures, a LEGO-themed spinoff that’s been described by an anonymous source as essentially “Horizon Forbidden West but Lego”. The game will reportedly feature “realistic” visuals.
Further details are scarce, but supposedly, LEGO Horizon Adventures is going to be announced soon, as per trademark filings found by Kurakasis. Henderson claims an announcement trailer for the game has been ready since last month, indicating that it could be unveiled at Sony’s rumoured PlayStation Showcase sometime this month. As per prior reports, the event will also see reveals and updates for Silent Hill 2’s remake and a new Astro Bot game.
Sony is preparing something in cooperation with LEGO, it is related to their well-known IP, the announcement is expected soon
