The latest entry in the Jurassic World universe is rolling out now in cinemas, and it’s proved to be a popular hit over the Independence Day weekend, far surpassing expectations.
Universal is once again revisiting the world of prehistoric reptiles. Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), a former ex-military covert operative, is recruited by a pharmaceutical company to get biomaterial samples from three dinosaur species. With her team consisting of palaeontologist Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) and her friend, Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali), among others, Zora travels to a zone inhabited by dinosaurs, both regular and mutated ones.

In the UK, you can book tickets via Vue, Showcase, Odeon or Cineworld websites.
In the US, tickets are available on AMC Theatres, Fandango or Atom Tickets.

When could Jurassic World Rebirth be released on VOD?
Universal Pictures, the distributor for the film, hasn’t revealed when the latest entry in the dinosaur franchise will appear on digital. The VOD release date may depend on the film’s financial performance.
So far, Jurassic World Rebirth is doing extremely well at the box office, raking in $318 million worldwide in its opening weekend. In the US, the most successful movies from the studio appear on digital platforms approximately a month after debuting in cinemas.
How to Train Your Dragon, Universal’s latest hit, will become available for purchase and rental 31 days after its cinematic debut. Wicked hit VOD after 39 days, while Twisters after only 25 days.
Therefore, in the States, we expect Jurassic World Rebirth to arrive on digital in late July or early August 2025.
In the UK, the latest dinosaur flick will likely arrive a bit later, approximately a month and a half after its cinema release. We estimate that Jurassic World Rebirth may arrive on Amazon UK and Sky Store around mid-August 2025.

When could Jurassic World Rebirth be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
We expect the physical copies of Rebirth to hit stores in a month or two after releasing the movie on VOD, just as Wicked and Twisters did.
If that is the case for Jurassic World Rebirth, in the US, the dinosaur film may arrive on DVD and Blu-ray in late August or early September at the earliest. However, the release date may slip to the beginning of October 2025.
In the United Kingdom, the physical copies may arrive around a month and a half after VOD release, most likely at the end of September 2025 at the earliest.
When could Jurassic World Rebirth be released on streaming services?
As with Twisters and Wicked, we expect Jurassic World Rebirth to drop on Peacock after its release on DVD and Blu-Ray. The former disaster film appeared on the service only 24 days after the release of physical copies. Meanwhile, the hit musical took 45 days to do so.
Therefore, Jurassic World Rebirth may debut on Peacock between mid-September 2025 and mid-October 2025.
After spending four months on Peacock, Jurassic World Rebirth will move to Netflix, where, according to the deal between the corporations, the flick will spend ten months. After that time, it will return to Peacock again.
It’s unknown when the new instalment of the dinosaur-centred franchise will premiere in the UK, as there isn’t a set pattern. Once we know more, we’ll update this article.
