Get ready for a trip down memory lane with one of Hollywood’s most beloved former couples —Sophie Turner andJoe Jonas! The Game of Thrones star and the Jonas Brothers frontman first connected in 2016 after being introduced by mutual friends, and sparks flew instantly. Fans quickly fell in love with their chemistry as the two went public with their relationship later that year.
The pair made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in 2017, solidifying their status as one of the industry’s hottest young couples. That same year, Joe proposed with a dazzling pear-shaped diamond ring, and Sophie happily said yes. They tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony in May 2019 right after the Billboard Music Awards — officiated by an Elvis impersonator, of course! A few weeks later, they hosted a second, romantic wedding in the French countryside, surrounded by family and close friends.
In July 2020, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Willa, followed by a second baby girl in July 2022. For years, the pair seemed inseparable, balancing their busy careers with family life.
However, after four years of marriage, Joe filed for divorce from Sophie in September 2023, citing “irretrievable differences.” Despite the split, both stars have remained focused on co-parenting their two daughters and maintaining an amicable relationship. Sophie has since been spotted filming new projects and attending events in London, while Joe continues touring with the Jonas Brothers and working on solo music.
