Jeremy Renner’s big break would come in 2009 in Katheryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker, and ever since then, he’s steadily climbed up Hollywood’s ladder of action movies. His role in The Town continued to garnish him critical praise. Yet, his biggest role, one that would define this stage of his career, would come in 2011. An uncredited cameo in the first Thor movie introduced the world to the character of Hawkeye.

In 2011, Jeremy would join another beloved franchise as a part of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. He returned for the 2015 sequel, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. In 2023, however, Jeremy’s career was put on pause due to his serious snowplow accident on New Years’ Day 2023. Fortunately, he has made a full recovery.
