Jamie Lynn Spears is an American actress and singer, best known as the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears. She rose to fame as the lead of Nickelodeon’s hit comedy-drama Zoey 101, which aired from 2005 to 2008 and followed Zoey Brooks and her friends at Pacific Coast Academy.
In 2007, Jamie Lynn welcomed her first child, daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge, with then-boyfriend Casey Aldridge. The pair were engaged in 2008 but split in 2010. She later married businessman Jamie Watson in 2014, and they share a daughter, Ivey Joan Watson, born in April 2018.
After stepping back from acting for several years, Jamie Lynn returned to the spotlight with roles including Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias, which has run for multiple seasons. She also reprised her role as Zoey Brooks in the 2023 sequel film Zoey 102. In addition to acting, she has pursued a career in country music, released her 2022 memoir Things I Should Have Said, and appeared on reality competition series like Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test and Dancing With the Stars in 2023.
