- Pantera Capital-backed Injective is now a member of the Blockchain Association.
- The layer 1 blockchain joins Coinbas, Circle and Brevan Howard among others as part of the pro-crypto advocacy group.
Injective has joined the Blockchain Association, a leading pro-crypto advocacy group based in the United States.
Binance-incubated Injective, backed by prominent venture capital firms Jump Crypto and Pantera, announced the move on Tuesday, March 25.
According to the team at the layer 1 blockchain, joining the Blockchain Association means Injective is now part of a group of blockchain companies collaborating to advance pro-crypto policies in the US.
Those already part of the advocacy group are Coinbase, Circle, Brevan Howard and Pantera Capital.
Big move for Injective
Founded in 2018, the Blockchain Association has grown to become one of the key voices in the crypto advocacy space, with its efforts geared towards helping not just top blockchain companies, but also investors.
For instance, in February, the US Securities and Exchange Commission “voluntarily dismissed” an appeal against a ruling that favoured the Blockchain Association.

Injective will benefit as a member, with aspects such as getting on track as a strong advocate of crypto policy. The platform will also have access to strategic connections with other industry leaders, while the overall effort of the Blockchain Association could see regulatory clarity.
“By joining the Blockchain Association, Injective gains a stronger voice in shaping policy discussions that impact the blockchain industry. This includes influencing regulatory frameworks crucial for decentralized technology growth and adoption,” Injective wrote.
The group’s work across sectors such as decentralized finance, non-fungible tokens, and stablecoins is also crucial amid Injective’s growth as a leading blockchain for web3 and real-world assets.
It is these efforts that will see the US strengthen its grip as crypto capital of the world, the L1 noted.
The news saw INJ, the native token of the Injective ecosystem, record slight gains. The altcoin traded around $10.71 at the time of writing, with bulls looking to extend the upward momentum above the psychological price level.
