After months of anticipation, Samsung has officially started rolling out a stable version of One UI 7. Here’s what you need to know about getting the latest OS software.

When will my Samsung Galaxy device get the stable One UI 7?

Initially available for the Galaxy S24 series, more Samsung Galaxy devices will receive access to One UI 7, bringing exciting new features and improvements to a wider range of users.

Samsung officially introduced One UI 7 on 22 January 2025, initially making it available only for the Galaxy S25 series. The stable update for older Galaxy devices is set to begin rolling out on 7 April 2025 in Korea with a global rollout expected to start within a few days.

It’s primed to start in the US on 10 April.

For a more in-depth look, find out When will my Samsung Galaxy phone get One UI 7?

How to download the One UI 7 stable release

Once Samsung does release the final and stable version of One UI 7 in your region and for your device, you should be able to get it easily (though you may need to be patient as it rolls out).

Simply head to the settings menu on your Samsung Galaxy phone, navigate to ‘Software Update’ and hit ‘Download and install’ followed by ‘Install now’ if there’s an update available.

Which Samsung Galaxy devices are eligible for the One UI 7 beta?

The Galaxy S24 series was the first to receive beta access, and now the programme is extending to additional devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy Tab S10 lineup.

Samsung first expanded the beta programme to its newest foldable phones on 6 March 2025.

How to sign up for the One UI 7 beta programme

Before installing the beta version, it’s strongly recommended that you back up all personal data and important files. Beta software can sometimes be unstable, and there is always a risk of encountering issues that could affect the performance of your device.

Follow our guides on how to back up Android and how to back up your data for free to make sure your files are safely stored.

Once your data is safe, assuming that you own an eligible device and live in a supported region (which includes both the UK and US), you can sign up for the One UI 7 beta programme through the Samsung Members app.

1. Open the Samsung Members app

Locate and open the Samsung Members app on your Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet.

2. Look for the One UI 7 Beta Programme banner

Once you open the Samsung Members app, find the One UI 7 Beta Programme banner and tap on it.

3. Sign up for the One UI 7 beta

After tapping on the banner, you should see the ‘Enroll’ button. Press on it to sign up to the beta programme.

4. Install the beta firmware

Once you have successfully registered, you can install the beta firmware by navigating to ‘Settings’ > ‘Software update’ > ‘Download and install’.
