While a release date is set for Honkai: Star Rail’s next update, miHoYo released a new trailer during Summer Game Fest. It’s a brief montage of characters from the recent Penacony arc, from Aventurine and Acheron to upcoming characters like Firefly and Jade. However, it also teases what’s next.
More specifically, we see March 7th’s highly rumored new form. No, she doesn’t get stabbed and awaken a new power but changes her outfit for the annual Wardance event on the Xianzhou Luofu. She can equip a pair of swords to help out. It may seem somewhat anti-climatic, but given her lack of memories, perhaps there’s more to this than meets the eye.
March 7th’s new form is likely coming in Version 2.4 (which adds Jiaoqiu and Yunli) since Version 2.3 wraps up the Penacony arc. The latter goes live on June 19th for PS5, PC, iOS and Android. Stay tuned for further details in the coming weeks.
