Many had guessed in the lead-up to the Nintendo Switch 2’s unveiling that Cyberpunk 2077 would release for the console, especially given the success that developer CD Projekt RED enjoyed with The Witcher 3’s Switch port, and sure enough, the first-person action RPG is indeed set to be one of Switch 2’s launch titles.
In the wake of that announcement, CD Projekt RED has been teasing out further details on Cyberpunk 2077’s Switch 2 port. Taking to BlueSky, the developer recently also confirmed that on the Nintendo Switch 2, the game will feature support for cross-progression, which means you’ll be able to carry over your saves from other platforms and continue with your progress intact on Nintendo’s console.
CD Projekt RED has also confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077’s Switch 2 port will feature support for the console’s gyroscope and mouse functionality.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition launches for the Switch 2 on June 5. Its expansion, Phantom Liberty, will also be included.
