Cameron Boyce died suddenly and tragically on the night of July 6, 2019, at the height of his life and career. He was only 20 years old. A young, charismatic star, Cameron was best known for his work with the Disney Channel, portraying memorable characters like Carlos in the Descendants films, Luke Ross on Jessie, and Conor on Disney XD’s Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything. His talent and charm led him to work alongside stars such as Adam Sandler, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Dove Cameron.

His heartbroken family confirmed the devastating news early on July 7, 2019, saying through a spokesperson, “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure, which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.”
