Assassin’s Creed Shadows Video Details Gameplay Differences Between Naoe and Yasuke

Ubisoft has a new video available for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, shining a light again on its dual protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke. As noted several times, the former specializes in stealth, while the latter is about fighting up close.

Naoe is graceful and incredibly agile, capable of back-flipping onto a hay pile like it’s nothing. In comparison, Yasuke will plummet like a rock and land on his back. Not only do they differ in speed and health pools, but also in how they approach some situations. Naoe may want to attack an objective, while Yasuke opts to show mercy.

Certain situations also necessitate a specific character. If you want to take high ground and gain an advantage on ranged attackers, Naoe is the best choice. When dueling with tougher enemies, Yasuke’s close-combat skills and strength excel. You’re still free to tackle any mission with either character, though.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on November 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out even more details here.
