Wade Wilson has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, accompanied by a somewhat grumpy Wolverine – the dynamic duo set off to save the multiverse in a kooky superhero tale.
The MCU’s latest movie has many surprises in store for viewers – to enjoy it as much as possible, it’s certainly worth rewatching the previous films about Wade Wilson and Logan’s adventures.

How many post-credits scenes does Deadpool and Wolverine have?
Two additional scenes are hidden in the mid and post-credits.
The mid-credit scene appears right after the first section of the credits, featuring the stars’ names. You certainly won’t get bored waiting for it.
The post-credit scene comes right at the end of all the credits.

What does the Deadpool and Wolverine mid-credit scene mean?
The first additional scene isn’t necessarily crucial for developing the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s definitely touching.
The filmmakers have put together a clip montage of behind-the-scenes footage from the X-Men franchise, which was created by 20th Century Fox.
The footage features, among others, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender as Magneto, and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.
This additional material gives viewers a glimpse into the past of the X-Men universe. Now that Disney has acquired the rights to the mutants, the clip is also a farewell to the previous era.

What does Deadpool and Wolverine’s end-credit scene mean?
The second hidden scene refers to the tragic fate of Johnny Storm (known as Human Torch), whom Deadpool and Wolverine met in the Void.
After the three heroes were captured by a group of mutants and dragged to Cassandra Nova’s fortress, the Merc with a Mouth proved worthy of his nickname. In a frenzied monologue, Deadpool threw an impressive number of insults in Cassandra’s face and credited their authorship to a terrified Johnny. As a result, the Human Torch was flayed and exploded by the telepath.
For the rest of the film, Deadpool tried unconvincingly to explain that he was simply quoting Storm’s earlier words.
In the post-credits scene, Deadpool decides to prove once and for all that he spoke the truth. Thanks to the TVA camera footage, everyone can see that during the journey to the fortress, Johnny did spit out insults about Cassandra and ended his monologue with an ironic wish for flaying. Moreover, he gave Deadpool permission to quote his statement.
