Bruce Willis is widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s most iconic action stars, best known for anchoring the blockbuster Die Hard franchise. The series, which launched in 1988, produced six films and cemented Bruce as the definitive John McClane — the quick-witted New York cop who finds himself battling danger in increasingly high-stakes situations. Beyond Die Hard, Willis built a decades-long career that spans comedies, thrillers, sci-fi classics, and award-winning dramas, making him one of the most versatile and recognizable actors of his generation.

Off-screen, Bruce has long been known as a devoted family man. He married Demi Moore in 1987, and the two share three daughters — Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Although they divorced in 2000, the pair remained close and continued to co-parent while maintaining a blended family dynamic. In 2009, Bruce married Emma Heming Willis, with whom he has two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.

In 2022, Bruce retired from acting following a diagnosis of aphasia, and the following year, his family revealed he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). In recent updates, his daughter Rumer shared that although living with FTD has been challenging, she still sees “a spark of him” and feels the love when she’s with him.
