In case you missed it, Google has launched new phones. A lot of them.
The new Pixel 9 series is double the size of the Pixel 8 range, with new regular and Pro models joined by a brand-new XL model and rebranded 9 Pro Fold foldable.
There are loads of exciting new features across the lineup, so it’s no surprise if you’re interested in pre-ordering one.
Here are all the retailers and networks we know about so far in the UK and US, plus the exciting perks they’re offering.
When will the Google Pixel 9 series be released?
All four models in the Pixel 9 series were announced on 13 August 2024.
The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will go on sale on 22 August. However, we’ll have to wait until 4 September for the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
How much does the Google Pixel 9 series cost?
The price of a Pixel 9 phone varies hugely, depending on which model you want and how much storage you need. Here’s how much you can expect to pay at launch:
- Pixel 9 (128GB) – £799/$799
- Pixel 9 (256GB) – £899/$899
- Pixel 9 Pro (128GB) – £999/$999
- Pixel 9 Pro (256GB) – £1,099/$1,099
- Pixel 9 Pro (512GB) – £1,219/$1,219
- Pixel 9 Pro (1TB) – £1,449/$1,449
- Pixel 9 Pro XL (128GB) – £1,099/$1,099
- Pixel 9 Pro XL (256GB) – £1,199/$1,199
- Pixel 9 Pro XL (512GB) – £1,319/$1,319
- Pixel 9 Pro XL (1TB) – £1,549/$1,549

However, with plenty of contract offers across all four phones, you’ll have the option to pay for your chosen handset over the course of 24-, 36- or 48 months.
Where to pre-order the Google Pixel 9 series in the UK
So far, Google is the only confirmed Pixel 9 retailer in the UK, with all four phones available via the Google Store. But there are some great perks available:

The company says the devices will also be available via “our retail partners”. If the Pixel 8 series and Pixel 8a are anything to go by, they’ll also be available outright at the following:

- Vodafone – Pixel 9 (from £17.50 per month with £30 upfront), Pixel 9 Pro (from £21.50 per month with £50 upfront), Pixel 9 Pro XL (from £24.50 per month with £50 upfront) and Pixel 9 Pro Fold (from £30.50 per month with £50 upfront)
- Sky Mobile – Pixel 9 (from £28 per month with no upfront costs), Pixel 9 Pro (from £34 per month with no upfront costs), Pixel 9 Pro XL (from £38 per month with no upfront costs) and Pixel 9 Pro Fold (from £63 per month with £36 upfront)

Again, Google is the only confirmed retailer in the US, with all four devices available via the Google Store.
