Virginia Giuffre, the woman who shook the world with her claims against Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, has posted a heartbreaking message from her hospital bed.
In an Instagram update, she revealed that she’s been told she has just four days to live due to kidney failure after a serious car crash.
Lying in a hospital bed with a visibly bruised face, Giuffre described the moment everything changed. “A school bus driver came at us doing 110 km/h as we were slowing for a turn. It didn’t matter what the car was made of – it might as well have been a tin can,” she wrote.
She’s now been transferred to a specialist urology centre and says she’s facing the worst prognosis imaginable. “I’ve gone into renal failure,” she explained. “They’ve given me four days to live.”
But despite her words, Giuffre’s tone was far from resigned. “I’m ready to go – just not before I see my babies one more time,” she wrote, before adding in her characteristically raw way, “But you know what they say about wishes…”
Virginia Giuffre’s legal battles and latest health scare
Virginia Giuffre’s name first made headlines with her accusations of sexual abuse against billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. In 2021, she filed a civil lawsuit claiming Epstein had trafficked her to Prince Andrew multiple times when she was 17. The case was settled out of court in 2022 for an undisclosed sum.
She had previously settled with Epstein in 2009 for $500,000, and has long claimed both he and Ghislaine Maxwell groomed her when she was still a teenager. Despite a widely circulated photo of her with Prince Andrew and Maxwell, the royal famously said in a BBC interview: “I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady.”
Messages of support pour in for Virginia Giuffre after health scare
As Giuffre battles this new life-threatening health crisis, her father, Sky Roberts, posted a public message under her Instagram update. “Virginia my daughter, I love you and I’m praying for you to get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life,” he wrote. “My spirit is with you now, holding your hand.”
For many who’ve followed her difficult and very public journey over the years, this latest update is deeply emotional. And while she’s never shied away from tough truths, her latest words have struck a nerve: raw, painful and brutally honest.
