At this point, I’ve tested so many AI detectors against Undetectable AI that I’m starting to feel like a broken record. But hey, someone’s got to do the dirty work, right?
You see, every time a new AI detector pops up claiming they’ve cracked the code, I get a little excited. Maybe this time will be different. Maybe this time, we’ll find something that can actually stand up to sophisticated AI bypassers. But more often than not, it’s the same story with a different name.
Today, we’re looking at AHelp’s AI detector — a free tool that’s part of their academic suite. They’re making some pretty bold claims about accuracy and detection capabilities. But will they fare any better against Undetectable AI than their predecessors?
What is Undetectable AI?
Undetectable AI is an AI detection bypasser made to humanize AI-generated text. They do this by carefully rearranging the original text and adding intentional mistakes to simulate human writing. It also has output customization for adjusting purpose and readability levels. You can also switch between balanced, more human, and more readable.

What’s The Catch?
So, if Undetectable AI is really as good as I say, why aren’t more people using it?
The answer is simple: it’s just not as good at writing as other paraphrasers — and for a good reason. Here are two essays, one from ChatGPT and the other is its equivalent in Undetectable AI.
Accutane, also known as isotretinoin, is a powerful medication used to treat severe acne that has not responded to other treatments. Originally developed as a form of vitamin A, Accutane reduces the amount of oil released by the skin’s glands and promotes faster cell turnover, effectively reducing acne. Due to its potency, it’s prescribed under strict medical supervision because of potential side effects, which include dry skin, sun sensitivity, and, in rare cases, depression or liver issues. Pregnant women are especially cautioned against its use due to a high risk of birth defects. Despite risks, Accutane has helped many achieve clearer skin and increased self-confidence. |
Accutane or isotretinoin is a medication prescribed for acne that hasn’t improved with other treatments. It was first created as a typea vitamin A. Works, by decreasing the oil produced by the skins glands and speeding up cell turnover to help acne.It requires monitoring due to its strength and possible side effects like dry skin, sensitivity, to sun and occasionally mood changes or liver problems. Using Accutane poses a concern, for women because it carries a high risk for causing birth defects. Even though there are dangers involved with its usage Accutane has proven to be effective, in improving skin clarity and boosting ones self esteem. |
ChatGPT’s essay is readable and grammatically correct. It uses proper sentence structure, appropriate commas, and clear transitions between ideas. The spacing and punctuation are consistent throughout.
Undetectable AI is worse. It contains multiple technical errors, including missing spaces after periods, incorrect apostrophe usage (e.g., “skins” instead of “skin’s”), unnecessary commas (e.g., “sensitivity, to sun”), and run-on sentences.
This is because Undetectable AI uses mistakes to hide from detectors. While this is effective, you might want to tweak their output first before actually using it.
What is AHelp?

- A Paraphraser for rewording content
- A Summarizer to condense lengthy texts.
According to them, the platform boasts impressive metrics, including 100% compliance with academic standards, 66% improvement in writing quality, and a 5x faster writing and research process.
AHelp’s AI Detection Tool
AHelp’s AI Detector is free, unlike Winston and Originality. It claims to detect AI content from GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini with a high accuracy. Similar to Sapling, AHelp also outputs an AI likelihood score and highlights specific parts of the text that are likely to be generated by LLMs.

Thoughts?
A 0% correctness puts AHelp at the level of Writer.com, the worst AI detection tool I’ve tested so far. Don’t get me wrong — Undetectable AI is definitely effective, but other detectors have managed to get a respectable score against it.
AHelp couldn’t.
Which brings me to my point: it’s good enough to detect content directly from LLMs, but it’s still at the level where simple editing is enough to trick it. You’re better off using Winston (if you want the most effective and don’t care about spending money) or Sapling (if you want a slightly less effective but free option).
So, What Now?
The thing about AI detection is that it’s not just about catching the obvious stuff. Any decent detector can spot raw ChatGPT output — that’s beginner level. The real test comes when you’re up against tools specifically designed to dodge detection, like Undetectable AI.
AHelp, unfortunately, falls into the same trap as many others before it. Sure, it might work fine for basic detection needs, but when faced with a real challenge, it crumbles completely.
If you’re serious about AI detection, stick with proven tools like Winston AI, Copyleaks, or Sapling. As for AHelp? Well, let’s just say it’s another reminder that in the world of AI detection, not all that glitters is gold.
