Cleaning your oven is just about the worst way to spend what feels like an infinite amount of time. And that’s one of the reasons we love air fryers. With their non-stick cooking surfaces, they are so much quicker and easier to clean.
But what if you barely had to clean them at all?
That’s where air fryer liners come in. Put one of those bad boys in the bottom of your cooking drawer and when your food is done, just whip it out and bin it. No, it’s not as environmentally friendly as using nothing at all – but parchment paper liners are not the worst type of waste and, as a plus, you won’t have to worry about oil blocking your sink while washing up.
If you’re in the UK, Amazon has over a third off parchment air fryer liners, which are an ideal size for a dual-drawer Ninja air fryer. 100 of these would usually set you back £12.95, but you can currently buy them for £7.95, which means they cost under 8p each.
Air fryer liners tend to come in two types: parchment and silicone. The advantage of the latter is that they’re re-usable but that does mean you need to wash them, and we are all about easy solutions. Parchment is also the better complement to an air fryer, as it won’t block hot air from circulating around your food the same way that thicker silicone liners will.
However, parchments liners have a couple of downsides as well. You need to ensure that the paper doesn’t touch the heating coil, plus any fat in your food won’t be able to drain away beneath the crisper tray.
We’ve also found a deal on silicone liners, which are currently discounted by 15%, from £6.99, down to £5.94 for two. Or, you can browse all air fryer liners on Amazon.
The US deal isn’t quite as good but you can buy 100 parchment paper liners for a dual-drawer air fryer for $11.99, down from $13.05, so they’re under 12¢ each.
Or you can take a look at all the air fryer liners available on Amazon US.
