When could The Fall Guy be released on VOD?
The Fall Guy is distributed by Universal Pictures. This studio typically releases its films first on digital, but there’s no information yet about when The Fall Guy may hit VOD platforms.
Universal’s movies usually become available to rent or buy between three and seven weeks after the cinema release, depending on the box office performance.
Smash hits like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and M3GAN dropped on VOD six and seven weeks respectively after their cinema debut. On the other hand, The Last Voyage of the Demeter and Argylle were massive flops and hit digital three and four weeks respectively after their big screen release.
Considering that The Fall Guy underperformed at the box office, we think it will appear on VOD platforms sooner rather than later. Therefore, the film may be available for rental and purchase from as early as June 2024.

When could The Fall Guy be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Typically, physical copies of Universal Pictures’ films can be purchased a month or two after release on VOD.
Thus, if our estimated VOD premiere date is correct, The Fall Guy may drop on DVD and Blu-ray in mid-July 2024.
When could The Fall Guy be released on streaming services?
Many Universal’s films hit streaming about a month or a month and a half after their release on DVD and Blu-ray. A significant exception, however, was the aforementioned The Last Voyage of the Demeter, which became available for streaming four months after the release of physical copies.
As with most Universal films, The Fall Guy will surely be released on Peacock. We estimate that it may happen in late August/early September 2024.
That date is for the US – it’s harder to know when Fall Guy will arrive on streaming platforms in the UK. If it follows the same pattern as the Mario movie, it’s likely to arrive on Sky Cinema and Now TV, but this isn’t confirmed.
