One of the most impressive discounts is on the Travelpro Platinum Elite, which is one of our favorite carry-on rollaboard suitcases. Normally $368, it’s now 46 percent off, bringing the price to $150. That takes it from the high-end pricing to much more affordable.

We’re a big fan of Travelpro as a brand, and as WIRED editor Adrienne So says, its bags are “durable, light, and not too expensive.” It’s why so often they’re the travel bag of choice for pilots and flight attendants.

Our top pick, the new Maxlite Air V2, is an updated polycarbonate version of the older nylon model, especially noteworthy for being a pound lighter than many of the other carry-on bags we’ve tested. So, if you want something a bit more modern-looking, I’d point you in the direction of another of our favorite travel bands, Away.
