If you’ve been missing Pedro Pascal in his iconic armour, along with the adordable Baby Yoda, we have good news — The Mandalorian and Grogu will return in spring 2026. However, not in the next season of the hit Disney+ series, but in a cinematic feature.
The Mandalorian and Grogu covers the next adventures of the unlikely duo. In addition to Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, the film also features Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, Jabba’s son, and Sigourney Weaver as Din’s and Grogu’s new ally. Jon Favreau, the creator of the original Disney+ series, takes the helm of the film as director.
The first trailer for the flick has already appeared online:
When could tickets for The Mandalorian and Grogu go on sale?
Disney has slotted 22 May 2026 for the premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu. Given the popularity of The Mandalorian series, we’re sure tickets will go on sale well beforehand.
Tickets for Lilo & Stitch, another Disney movie, were available for pre-sale two and a half weeks before the cinematic premiere. On the other hand, fans could book seats for Captain America: Brave New World and Freakier Friday four weeks before the cinematic premiere. Tickets for The Fantastic Four: First Steps were available even earlier, as much as seven weeks before the film’s premiere.
We expect tickets for The Mandalorian and Grogu to go on sale approximately four to seven weeks before the film’s release. Fans should therefore keep an eye out for them on cinema websites from 3 April 2026.
