If you’re a Sky Glass, Sky Stream or Sky Q owner, then from today you’ll be getting some free new features to celebrate the return of one of the biggest TV series on the platform.
House of the Dragon season 2 debuted this morning with an explosive episode that covers one of the most shocking plots from George R.R. Martin’s book, Fire and Blood. If you’ve not yet caught up, you can now easily find the show by using one of ten voice commands.
By either speaking into your remote or using “Hello Sky” you can navigate to the show in Team Black style by using commands such as “Team Black”, “House Black”, “Targaryen” or “Rhaenyra”. Meanwhile, Team Green fans can use similar phrases, with “Alicent” and “Hightower” also chosen passcodes.
Neutral parties can find the series by saying “Westeros” or “House of the Dragon collection’”
Season 2 of the Game of Thrones prequel will roll out new episodes on Sky Atlantic (channel 108) every Monday. They air at 2am BST, the same time they debut on HBO and Max in America. However, Sky users can watch them on demand once they’ve aired.
They also debut on Now’s flexible Entertainment Membership, though this streaming service does not support the new voice commands.
