Sunday, March 22ndBST 15:00 Port Vale vs Morecambe  15:00 Hartlepool vs Boston United 15:00 Kidderminster vs Needham Market Our Saturday English Accumulator:

While the Premier League and Championship might have entered respective fortnight intervals due to March’s international break, England’s lower leagues promises a stacked Saturday of action.

As the likes of League One high-flyers Wrexham steal centre stage, there are plenty of critical battles from up and down the country.

For those of you looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have taken a glance at some of the most appealing English betting markets that are available.

Sunday, March 22nd

BST 15:00 Port Vale vs Morecambe

Making a much-welcomed return to winning ways last weekend as they secured a thumping 3-0 victory against MK Dons, Port Vale will be desperate to use that performance as a platform to build on over the final couple of months.

Drawing a line under their four-match winless run last time out, Darren Moore’s will open Saturday’s showdown looking to skyrocket their way into the automatic promotion places.

In fact, the Valiants have suffered just a single defeat from any of their previous 13 consecutive League Two appearances – a run that stems all the way back to December 29th.

Enjoying what has been a real purple patch since opening up the New Year, Port Vale have also gained a reputation for their continued dominance on home soil.

Including a 2-1 win against Salford last month, the former Sheffield Wednesday boss has seen his squad muster 16 points from their previous six League Two showdowns in front of their own supporters.

While Morecambe might have collected a 1-0 victory against AFC Wimbledon earlier in the month, it appears that might have been just a minor boost for Saturday’s guests.

Eventually forced to settle for a 2-2 stalemate at home against Barrow last weekend, Derek Adams’ men have recorded just a single win from any of their previous six League Two appearances.

Getting March underway with a 1-0 defeat against Gillingham, Morecambe have also continued to show some glaring issues outside of Lancashire.

Last seen on their travels slumping to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of MK Dons, the Shrimps have lost all of their previous eight consecutive showdowns away from the Mazuma Mobile Stadium across all competitions.

Tip: Port Vale win @ 4/6

15:00 Hartlepool vs Boston United

While Boston might have opened the New Year pencilled in as a leading relegation contender, the Pilgrims have come roaring back in a sensational fashion and have breathed life back into their charge for National League status.

Putting in what was a sensational performance earlier in the week as they clinched an action-packed 3-2 victory away at Rochdale, Graham Coughlan’s men are now sat within touching distance of fifth-tier safety.

Laying down what was a heavyweight marker on March 11th as they stormed their way to a 3-0 romp against Yeovil, Boston have won all of their last three National League showdowns by an aggregate score of 7-2.

Getting March underway with a stellar 3-1 victory away at Dagenham & Redbridge, Saturday’s guests are unbeaten in all of their previous six consecutive outings.

Embarking on what has been a real purple patch over the past month, Coughlan’s side are more than capable of asking some real questions this weekend.

Almost sat in National League limbo as we enter the final couple of months, Hartlepool have shown some rather glaring issues and have the feel of a squad seeking a much-needed boost.

Forced to settle for respective 1-1 stalemates against Solihull Moors and Eastleigh over the past fortnight, the Stags are without a win from any of their previous eight straight appearances.

Signing off February with a dramatic 3-2 loss at the hands of Aldershot, Anthony Limbrick’s side have registered just a sole win from any of their previous 13 straight outings – a run that stems all the way back to New Year’s Day.

It should also be highlighted, five of Hartlepool’s last six National League showdowns have finished with both teams finding the net.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 4/5

15:00 Kidderminster vs Needham Market

While Kidderminster might have lost their National League status last season, the Harries have their sights firmly set on booking an immediate fifth-tier return in 2025.

Getting this weekend’s fixtures underway knowing that they can move within top spot of the National League North standings, Phil Brown’s men are pencilled in as a leading promotion contender this year.

Putting in another gritty performance last time out as they clinched a 1-0 victory at home against Scunthorpe, the former Hull City boss has seen his high-flying squad muster 16 points from their previous six appearances.

Making a major statement earlier in the month as they stormed their way to a 5-0 romp away at South Shields, Kidderminster will also be excited by their remarkable defensive resolve.

In fact, Brown’s promotion contenders have not conceded a single National League North strike in over 540 minutes of action.

Making an immediate return to losing ways earlier in the week as they fell to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Spennymoor, Needham Market have endured a major sixth-tier struggle this season.

Mustering just a single victory from any of their previous seven appearances, the Suffolk-based outfit get Saturday’s showdown underway sat three points adrift of safety.

Hit with a nightmare 5-0 drumming against Scarborough on March 11th, the Reds have shown some extended issues at both ends of the pitch.

Along with notching just a single clean sheet since the end of November, Needham Market have also drawn a blank in three of their last four National League North showdowns.

Tip: Kidderminster win to nil @ 1/1

Our Saturday English Accumulator:

  • Port Vale vs Morecambe – Port Vale win @ 4/6
  • Hartlepool vs Boston United – Both teams to score @ 4/5
  • Kidderminster vs Needham Market – Kidderminster win to nil @ 1/1
